You sell your products through NailFair. We take the payment, handle sales tax, and pay you out. You are responsible for the product, the shipping and the returns.
You sell as a page — a brand, supplier or shop — not as your personal account. Buyers see that page as the seller.
You confirm you may lawfully sell what you list, and that the details on the page are accurate and kept up to date.
One person or company may run several pages, but each page has its own agreement, its own payouts and its own standing.
NailFair collects the buyer’s payment. Payouts run through Stripe Connect, and you must complete Stripe’s identity and bank verification before your shop can go live.
NailFair keeps a commission of 15% of the goods subtotal. Commission is never charged on sales tax, and never billed back to you afterwards — it is simply the part not transferred.
Shipping you charge the buyer is paid to you in full. You ship it, you earn it.
Money is held before transfer: 3 days after delivery, 7 days for your first 90 days as a seller, and 21 days after payment where an order carries no tracking and there is no delivery date to count from.
A rolling reserve may be applied to an individual seller to cover refunds that land after a payout. You will be told if one applies to you.
NailFair is the marketplace facilitator for your sales on NailFair. We calculate, collect and remit US sales tax on those orders. You do not need a sales tax permit to sell here, and you must not also collect sales tax on the same order.
Everything else is yours: income tax, and any tax on sales you make away from NailFair. Stripe reports your payouts to the IRS where the law requires it, using the taxpayer details you give Stripe.
Counterfeit product, or anything that infringes another brand’s trademark, design or copyright. This is the rule we enforce hardest — the nail trade has a counterfeit problem and it lands on buyers.
Products that are recalled, expired, or banned from sale; anything requiring a licence you do not hold.
Listings that misstate what a product is — brand, size, ingredients, condition, country of origin or stock.
Steering buyers off NailFair to complete a sale started here.
You ship within the processing time stated on your shop, and you keep tracking accurate. An order with no tracking holds its payout longer, because there is no delivery date to start the clock.
You honour the return policy published on your shop, and US consumer law where it gives the buyer more. If we refund a buyer for a fault that is yours — item not received, not as described, damaged — the refund comes out of your balance.
You answer buyer messages about an order within two business days.
Every new seller is reviewed by NailFair before the shop opens. We may decline without giving a reason.
We may suspend a shop and hide its products where we reasonably believe this agreement has been broken — counterfeit listings and unshipped orders above all. Money already owed to you is still paid out, subject to refunds and chargebacks.
You may stop selling at any time. You must still fulfil or refund the orders you have already taken.
Your photos, text and brand stay yours. You give NailFair permission to show them on the site, in search and in marketing for the marketplace.
You confirm you have the right to use every image you upload — including photographs you did not take yourself.
When these terms change we publish a new version and ask you to accept it. Commission and payout timing are shown live on this page and in your dashboard; a change to those takes effect for orders placed after the change.
