Lavis C14-12 is cocoa rose, one of 24 in the Secret Garden line. The palette is garden pastels with a moonlit-gold cat eye and the finish is pastel cat eye with a moonlit-gold sweep; a cat eye magnet over the wet second coat draws the streak. Why techs pick C14-12 Pastel cat eye with a moonlit-gold sweep finish from the Lavis C-series, the specialty-finish range. Formulated without HEMA: stated as what is left out, not as a promise that nobody can react. 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) salon bottle, high-gloss, smooth application. 60 second cure per coat under UV or LED; Lavis quotes up to 21 days of wear with proper prep and a top coat. Lavis formulates the C-series without HEMA, the small monomer in most gel products and the one most often named when a client reacts to gel. That is an exclusion, not a guarantee that no one reacts. Why is my line soft? Timing: cure each nail within a second or two of lifting the magnet. A thin second coat or a magnet held too far away gives a faint line. How is it removed? A normal gel soak-off: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push the softened gel away. Never pry. Color samples and images may vary by monitor. Packaging may vary.
