Description

Lavis C15-21 is one of the 24 shades, one of 24 in the Gilded Aura line. The palette is gold-light cat eye on champagne, amber, emerald and wine bases and the finish is golden cat eye on rich bases; a cat eye magnet over the wet second coat draws the streak. Why techs pick C15-21 Golden cat eye on rich bases finish from the Lavis C-series, the specialty-finish range. Formulated without HEMA: stated as what is left out, not as a promise that nobody can react. 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) salon bottle, high-gloss, smooth application. 60 second cure per coat under UV or LED; Lavis quotes up to 21 days of wear with proper prep and a top coat. Specs for C15-21 Code C15-21 Collection Lavis C15 Gilded Aura, Lavis C-series Shade gold-light cat eye on champagne, amber, emerald and wine bases Effect Magnetic cat eye, golden cat eye on rich bases; magnet sold separately Formula Gel polish, HEMA-free Size 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL Cure 60 seconds per coat, UV or LED Wear Up to 21 days (Lavis figure, with prep and top coat) Season Fall and winter How to apply C15-21 Prep: cuticles back, buff the shine off, wipe, then cure a thin gel base (Base & Top Gel). First thin coat of C15-21, cured 60 seconds, no magnet. Second, slightly fuller coat; before it cures hold a cat eye magnet a few millimeters above the wet gel for a few seconds, then cure that nail at once. Full cure, then a glossy gel top coat. A dark cured base underneath makes the line read stronger. Best for Lavis pitches the Gilded Aura line for fall and winter. Clients who wear gold jewelry: the line matches the metal. Holiday glam: gold line on wine, emerald and navy. Lavis formulates the C-series without HEMA, the small monomer in most gel products and the one most often named when a client reacts to gel. That is an exclusion, not a guarantee that no one reacts. Why is my line soft? Timing: cure each nail within a second or two of lifting the magnet. A thin second coat or a magnet held too far away gives a faint line. How is it removed? A normal gel soak-off: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push the softened gel away. Never pry. Color samples and images may vary by monitor. Packaging may vary.
