Rebalance
Moving the thickest point of a grown-out nail back where it belongs.
As a nail grows the apex travels down the finger with it, and the nail starts to look flat at the base and heavy at the end. A rebalance files the old product back and rebuilds the arch over the new growth.
Often done as part of a fill; the word is used when the shape, not just the gap, is the problem.
